This page is for Players. It explains what information MH-Pitch uses, who can see it, and what choices and rights you have. If any part is confusing, ask a parent, guardian, Coach or another trusted adult to read it with you.
The short version
- We only ask for information we need to make MH-Pitch work.
- Your information is not meant to be public.
- Players only see their own team's Player leaderboard in Edition 1.
- Coaches should only see Player information for teams they are assigned to.
- Club Administrators can see information needed to run their own club.
- We use your age group, not your full date of birth, in Edition 1.
- Player accounts need a team invite from your Coach or club — there is no unrestricted public Player sign-up.
- We do not collect challenge videos in Edition 1.
- We do not send promotional marketing to Player accounts.
- We do not use adverts or behavioural advertising in Edition 1.
- You can ask us questions about your information and you have rights over it.
1. Who are we?
MH-Pitch is run by MH PITCH LTD. We provide an online service for grassroots football clubs, Coaches, Club Administrators and Players.
In Edition 1, Player accounts are created using a team invite link from your Coach or club. You cannot sign up as a Player on the public sign-up page without that invite.
If you want to ask us about your personal information, you can contact us at MHPitch@outlook.com.
2. What information do we use about you?
Depending on how your club uses MH-Pitch, we may use information such as:
- Your name
- Your email address for your account
- Your age group
- The club and team you belong to
- Whether you are available for a training session, match or event
- Your attendance
- Your challenge participation and results
- Your points, level, badges and achievements
- Account and security information needed to keep you signed in and protect your account
We do not collect your full date of birth in Edition 1.
We do not collect challenge videos in Edition 1.
3. Why do we use your information?
We use your information to help MH-Pitch work. For example, we may use it to:
- Put you in the correct club and team
- Show you the right team information
- Let your Coach manage attendance and availability
- Let you take part in challenges
- Work out points, levels and badges
- Show your position on your team's leaderboard
- Keep your account secure
- Fix problems and protect MH-Pitch from misuse
4. Who can see your information?
Your information is not intended to be publicly searchable. Different people can see different information depending on their role.
| Who? | What can they see? |
|---|---|
| You | Information available on your own Player account and within your authorised team. |
| Coach | Relevant Player information for teams the Coach is genuinely assigned to. |
| Club Administrator | Relevant information needed to manage their own club. |
| MH-Pitch | Information needed to operate, secure, support and maintain the service. |
5. What appears on the Player leaderboard?
In Edition 1, Players can only see their own team's Player leaderboard.
The leaderboard may show:
- First name
- Surname initial
- Rank
- Points
- Level
- Badges
It does not show your:
- Email address
- Full date of birth
- Contact details
- Attendance history
6. How long do we keep things?
We do not want to keep detailed information for longer than we need it. Some information is kept for different lengths of time.
| Information | How long we normally keep it |
|---|---|
| Availability | Deleted 48 hours after the session or event. |
| Detailed attendance | Kept for the current season and for 1 week after the season ends, then the detailed session-by-session record is deleted. |
| Season attendance summary | A limited season summary may be kept for authorised Coaches and Club Administrators to compare seasons. |
| Detailed challenge results | Deleted 1 month after the challenge ends, unless temporarily needed to deal with a dispute, security issue or legal matter. |
| Points, levels and badges | May stay while your Player account is active. |
| Invite links | Expire after 21 days. |
7. What happens if you move team or club?
If you move to another team in the same club, your points, badges and relevant progress can normally stay with your account.
If you move to a different club, access to your old club ends. Edition 1 club/team-specific progress may restart in your new club.
8. What happens if you delete your account?
If you delete your account, we will remove your active account and identifying information where appropriate.
If we genuinely need to keep a small amount of older information for legal, security, statistics or system integrity, we will try to anonymise it so it is no longer reasonably linked back to you.
9. Do we send you marketing?
No. Edition 1 promotional marketing is aimed at Club Administrators, not Player accounts. We do not use behavioural advertising or profile children for marketing during Edition 1. You may still receive messages needed to run your account or tell you about something happening in MH-Pitch.
10. What are your rights?
Children have data-protection rights too. Depending on the situation, you may be able to:
- Ask what personal information we have about you
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong
- Ask us to delete information in some situations
- Ask us to stop or limit some uses of your information
- Object to some uses of your information
- Withdraw consent when we are using consent
- Make a complaint about how your information is being used
You can contact us yourself, or ask a parent, guardian or trusted adult to help you. We may need to check who you are before changing or sharing account information.
11. What should you do if you are worried?
If you are worried about something you see on MH-Pitch, tell a parent, guardian, Coach, club safeguarding officer or another trusted adult.
If your concern is about your personal information or how MH-Pitch is being used, contact MHPitch@outlook.com.
If someone may be in immediate danger, tell a trusted adult and use the appropriate emergency or safeguarding services. MH-Pitch is not an emergency service.
